There’s still no firm release date attached to Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One, but this cinematic trailer will make you wish there was. Debuted as part of the IGN Expo overnight, the clip sets the scene for the prequel, which sees the eponymous investigator wrestling with his emotions as he seeks to solve a very personal case.
For those of you who haven’t been following this game, it takes place outside of London, on a 19th century Mediterranean island. “Political corruption and crime run rampant while the islanders cling to tradition and eschew outsiders, making your job even more difficult,” the press release reads. “There are two sides to every story, and the proud islanders have their own ideas about truth and justice. It’s up to you to decide whether uncovering the truth will do more harm than good.”

Could be great, obviously depends on how good the writing is in the game.
The way they make both Watson and Holmes hotter in every game is very funny to me. Two games ago they were middle aged dudes solving mysteries, now they wouldn’t look out of place in a Victorian themed boy band.
I kinda wish I wasn’t this intrigued by this game. I’ll end up getting it and inevitably Frogwares will be Frogwares, introducing some dodgy mechanic.
Does it have Dr Watson randomly spawn every time you turn round lol
@residentmeevil Dorian Gray is 100% the Robbie Williams of that group.
@residentmeevil They're right heart throbs now.
I've really enjoyed the previous Holmes games, but I also picked them both up on the cheap. Will likely do the same for this one.
Trailer got me excited, but I will most likely wait for a cheap sale like @Deadhunter
I bought the previous games on sale and still haven't touched them yet lol.
I've enjoyed the previous games, Crimes & Punishments is my favourite, but even The Devils Daughter isn't bad as it's made out to be. I'm a little unsure about this one, but i'll grab a copy all the same.
